I am a Polish illustrator based in the United Kingdom.
I specialise in creating ethereal portraits with a haunting mood and atmosphere, often exploring different emotions and expressions within my pieces.
In addition to watercolors, I also work in many other traditional mediums such as gouache, graphite and ink. Many of my works are highly influenced by graphic design, fashion and other forms of art. After quitting college at the age of 18, I decided to go full time with my art career and have been a self taught artist my entire life.
Currently I focus on personal works which I share on my social media. In addition, I work with clients on various commissions and projects.

This site is the personal portfolio of Tomasz Mrozkiewicz, working as Tomasz Mro, an independent illustrator based in the United Kingdom. I only handle the small amount of personal information needed to reply to you. This policy explains what I collect, why, and your rights under UK data protection law — the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What this site collects
This is a static portfolio site. It does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not run analytics that profile you.
- Messages you send me. The contact and enquiry forms open your own email app so you can send me a message. When you email me, I receive your name, your email address and whatever you choose to write. I use this only to reply and to discuss or fulfil a commission or sale.
- Basic server logs. Like almost all websites, my hosting provider automatically records limited technical data — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to keep the site secure and running.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no third-party advertising, social or analytics cookies. Nothing is stored on your device to identify or follow you around the web.
Fonts
To display its typefaces, the site loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests these fonts, Google receives your IP address and basic technical information about your browser in order to serve the files. Google states it does not use this data to identify individuals or to serve advertising; you can read Google's policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Social media and external links
My site links out to my profiles on Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr and Pinterest, and may link to other external sites. These are ordinary links — there are no embedded social buttons, feeds or widgets that track you while you browse here. Once you follow a link and leave my site, the platform you arrive at is run by that company under its own privacy policy, which I do not control. I'd encourage you to read the policy of any site you visit.
Why I can use it (lawful basis)
- To answer your enquiry and carry out a commission or sale you have asked for: because it is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our agreement.
- To keep the site secure and working: my legitimate interest in running a safe, reliable website.
Who I share it with
I don't sell or trade your information. I rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on my behalf:
- Email — Google (Gmail), which I use to correspond with you.
- Website hosting — my hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps the server logs described above.
Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the UK's international data transfer provisions.
The shop
Purchases are handled on a separate shop at shop.tomaszmro.com. When it opens it will carry its own privacy and payment terms covering checkout and the payment providers used there.
How long I keep it
I keep emails and enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your request and to meet any legal or accounting obligations, then delete them.
Keeping your data secure
I take reasonable care to keep your information safe and to limit who can access it. No method of sending or storing data is ever completely secure, but I only hold what I need, for no longer than I need it.
Children's privacy
This site is not aimed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent me personal data, please email me and I will delete it.
Automated decisions
I do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to: access the personal data I hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how I use it; or receive a copy to reuse elsewhere. To exercise any of these, email tomaszmroart@gmail.com and I will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
